SUPPORT TECHNICIAN II/III

Our experienced and certified technical team provides professional IT services for small and medium sized businesses throughout the entire Treasure Valley. Although computers and technology are our primary focus we are more than IT consultants. We are business advisors who aim to help grow a company and assist them in achieving their business goals by utilizing today's technology.
We are looking to add a customer focused professional to our team who is experienced in providing a wide variety of technical support for various desktop and server based operating systems. We work in a fast paced, multiple-priority environment with freedom to think creatively.
The successful candidate can discuss and explain technical issues in non-technical terms that allow people to be comfortable with technology. They can successfully consult and communicate with customers on the value that the proposed IT solutions will have on their business. Additionally, they are well versed at providing clients with excellent customer service.
If you are proficient at providing a wide variety of PC based technical support to end users this position may be a good fit for you. We provide structure and standard operating systems but allow for variety and freedom from routine. You will be expected to:
- Respond to support request from end users; triage, repair, and/or escalate to Engineers if needed
- Maintain, upgrade, and repair PCs and peripheral equipment
- Troubleshoot computer, software, network and connectivity issues
- Process Active Directory changes and Exchange Administration
- Load, verify, and support software including Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
- Install and monitor dashboard; and fix errors; e.g. backup failures, antivirus updates, critical events, etc.
- Track and resolve equipment problems
- Assist with licensing and inventory control
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a High School degree, or equivalent, training in computer software, hardware, and basic networking, plus 1 / 4 years of experience performing IT/Desktop support and a broad range of technical issues. You must have demonstrated analytical problem-solving and customer service skills as well as have worked in an environment where you supported multiple businesses at the same time.
